It's my bandomversary this week while I can't pinpoint an exact day it was this week last year I was housesitting at my kinda grandmas and I dipped my toes into American Idol RPS I read a really great story and decided RPF wasn't so bad. I remembered that MakesMeWannaDie had posted a rec set featuring Panic at the Disco so I checked it out I read a really great AU called Hating Summer and that was it I was hooked. I can honestly say I've never looked back while I still occasionally read in other fandoms it's usually only brief flirtations before I'm right back to bandom.

My heart is a little broken but I am processing. This is not my first fandom it is not my first fandom that has been thrown for a loop by canon. They are going to be ok and we as a fandom are going to be ok. I still love My Panic Boys all four of them. I'm having a hard time listening to Pretty Odd right now so i'm going to give it a break but it took me a long time to be able to listen to Blink-182 again too {they were the first band to break my heart and look they are back together}

I got my Tickets for Blink 182 in September! Blink 182 was the first band I liked all by myself and not because my older brother told me it was good. As we got older I was the one that introduced Blink to my younger siblings and cousins and My little bro Joey and I really bonded over them and really the reason why he became such good friends with our Indian Soul Brother Donovan was because of Blink 182. We have listened to them and Box Car Racer and Angels and Airwaves and Plus 44. We have had long conversations about the EPIC love between Mark and Tom and when Travis was in his plane crash Joey called me at work holding back tears because he thought he was dead. I had the pleasure of running back to the office and looking it up on Yahoo and calling him back in relief. We never got to see them back in the day because we were very poor kids and we thought we missed our chance but thank goodness that the Patron Saint of music Saint Cecilia listens to prayers because my favorite band in the whole world got over their issues and got back together.

Just got the Due South Complete series box set and I'm really enjoying watching a show I haven't gotten to see since TNT took it off the schedule those bastards

My darling sister posted a tiny tiny drabble of a larger universe we are working on set in the Summer of Like it's hilarious
